Around 18% of undergraduate students in Singapore are overseas students. This means shelter are one of the most important thing for those students. Hostel is one of the example that mostly filled with foreigner students. A case study is conducted in two hostel namely Oak Palm and Nanyang Hostel to know more the condition of the hostel.
Students require space to work and basic facilities for entertainment purposes. Additional storage places might help students to live more generously. From those two pictures above can be concluded that students have lack of places for storage and because of the busy activity, the seldom organized the stuffs which cause the room to be untidy or unorganized.
